I know that the so-called ‘Politicians’ are unable to digest a common man as Chief Minister: Mann

Taking strong exception over an unparliamentary remark by former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal against him, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday said that baffled over growing public support for him, the SAD Chief has lost his mental balance.

In a statement issued here, Mann categorically said that these rejected leaders, who have been ousted by the people, don’t have any moral right to say anything. He said that these leaders had treated Punjab as their fiefdom and plundered the state mercilessly. He said that irked over this the wise people of state had elected their own government by trouncing these leaders badly.

The CM said that now these leaders are not able to digest that the government of common man is working tirelessly to serve the state and its people, adding that frustrated over this these leaders have started hitting below the belt by using such foul language. Mann said that these leaders will be paid back in the same coin by the people of state who be certainly teach them a lesson.

Mann said that it’s ok that he was insane but at least he was not plundering the public wealth as Sukhbir and his coterie had done during their heydays. He said that these people are stooping too low in public life but people will certainly give them a befitting answer in coming times. He said that these people had committed unpardonable sins against Punjab and its people adding that they will never be forgiven for them by the people of state.
