Following the CBI raids at multiple locations in Haryana in connection with questionable allotment of coveted industrial plots during former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda regime, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal on Monday made it clear that CBI and vigilance probes against Hooda and other leaders were not being conducted due to any political vendetta.

In fact, these probes were being conducted after irregularities committed during their tenure surfaced, said the Chief Minister while addressing a public meeting in Julana at district Jind.

He said that Hooda had himself said during the Vidhan Sabha session that he was ready for any investigation in case any irregularity is found committed during his tenure. Therefore, why was he worried now, questioned Manohar lal.

Former Chief Minister Hooda had termed the CBI raids as “personal vendetta”. “The CBI may probe the matter, but I have not done anything wrong,” Hooda had said.
