The National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB) has sanctioned Rs 654 crore for the construction of 114.302 kilometre roads in five districts of Haryana -- Gurgaon, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Sonipat and Rewari.
A spokesman of the Haryana Government said that in these districts construction of bye-passes, new roads and upgradation of roads would be undertaken.
Project Sanctioning and Monitoring Group of NCRPB meeting which held under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Union Ministry of Urban Development, Sudhir Krishna on Monday approved these projects in New Delhi. Principal Secretaries of Public Works (Building and Roads) Departments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP were also present in this meeting.
