Maluka accepts Mann's challenge

PNS

Days after Aam Aadmi Party MP from Sangrur Bhagwant Mann threw an open challenge to Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal and other State leaders to undergo a dope test, the senior Akali leader and State’s Rural Development and Panchayats Minister Sikander Singh Maluka on Friday accepted the same.

“let Mann select time and place for the test and I would be there,” said Maluka while asking Mann to bring along AAP MP from Faridkot Prof Sadhu Singh also.

Maluka said that the leaders from across the political spectrum should volunteer for dope test. Besides Mann, Maluka also challenged the newly-appointed state Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh to come forward for the dope test.

Going a step ahead, Maluka proposed that besides dope test, the politicians should also be subjected to a lie-detector test.

Maluka announced that he would leave politics for life in case he did not clear dope test and at the same time, said that all those who come out to be positive in the test should abdicate politics for ever.

Rather than resorting to cheap tactics by releasing videos to mislead people, AAP leaders should come forward in the field, he said.  Maluka said that Akali Dal is a party with glorious history whose leaders and activists have made unparalleled sacrifices for Punjab.

“An addict like Bhagwant Mann could not be allowed to disfigure the history of sacrifices of Akali Dal. The people of Sangrur are now repenting by voting for him in the lok Sabha election as they had to face embarrassment repeatedly due activities inebriated Mann,” he said.
