The leader of Opposition in Haryana and INlD’s senior leader Abhay Singh Chautala on Wednesday levelled fresh allegations of corruption against former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Chautala alleged that the Hooda Government had looted the people of the state in its ten years of tenure. Talking to the mediapersons, he claimed that Hooda had illegally released land to Sidharth Co-operative House Building Society in Sonipat and one Shiv Das Mal Kalra in Gurgaon during his tenure.
Demanding action against the former CM, the INlD leader said that criminal case should be registered against Hooda and others under Sections 406,409,420,467,468 and 469 IPC read with 120B IPC and 13(1)D of Prevention of Corruption Act for committing forgery, criminal breach of trust, fraud and misuse of official position.
While talking to the mediapersons, Chautala said that a large number of unauthorized land allotments were made during Hooda’s tenure and the opposition will expose the wrong doings of previous government.
He also slammed the BJP led State Government for not taking action against Hooda following the submission of INlD’s 400 page chargesheet against him and said that if action is not taken in this case, the party will move High Court regarding this.
Giving one week’s time to the Manohar lal Khattar Government in Haryana to take appropriate action in the alleged corruption case, Chautala has also written a letter to the Chief Minister giving details of two cases of land allotment.
