Chasing dreams of making it big in the glamour world, the little ones will soon be seen sashaying down the ramp of fame during an exceptional fashion show for kids. All set to take the glamour world by surprise with their elegant moves, modelling skills, and unrivalled flairs, the young “models”, as small as three-and-a-half years, and teens up to 15, will dazzle the ramp with their stylish walk during the North India’s biggest kids fashion show —little Icons — on August 8.But before the kids showcase their creative moves, these little kids will be groomed, trained, and prepared for the mega show — starting with the auditions, photo shoot, training in interpersonal skills, the fine art of stage handling and facing the cameras — by the organisers of the event, IndieIcons Media.Conceptualised by Chandigarh-based former scribe Anandita Gupta, and also the CEO of IndieIcons Media, the kids fashion show endorses “an assemblage of personality enhancement, grooming and confidence boosting for the kids.

Anandita says that each auditioned and selected participant will be groomed and trained in ramp walking, besides being offered personal fashion portfolio shoots by the best fashion photographers in the region.“We are geared up with a stout line-up of talent, designers and sponsors, who have come together to rejoice the finest of fashion, style and artistic talent among kids from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, ludhiana, Jallandhar and even Delhi,” adds Anandita.Anandita believes this platform would give the brands and designers an opportunity to showcase their products. As of now, the auditions are underway, and will be held on July 12 and 19 at Fun Factory, Sector-9 D, Chandigarh, followed by free photo shoots by fashion photographers, three-day training, and the gala event on August 8.

“Our 12 winners would receive gift vouchers for dresses and sports-gear and accessories by leading kids’ designer brands like Pink Cow, Ayesha Accessories and De Cathalon. That is not all! The winners would also feature on the little Icons Annual Fashion Calendar which will be distributed to the leading kids designer brands in the country like Pink Cow, Ayesha Accessories, Gummy King, Brown Bows, Kidology, Verka, Cremica, Gini&Jony, Wonderland and Fun Factory,” says Anandita. To judge the skills of the little masters would be the likes of Gladrags little Miss India Karuna Singh, Mad Arts and Jaspal Bhatti Film School chairperson Savita Bhatti, Master Chef finalist Kandla Nijhowne, dance guru Jasmeet K Shan, among others.
