Slamming the Opposition, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar on Tuesday said that all the wrongdoings of the previous Congress-led State Government will be made public.

The scams involving crores of rupees would be exposed so that the hard-earned money of the people could be returned to them in the shape of development, said Manohar lal while addressing a public meeting in Jind. The Chief Minister said that facts are being collected and those found guilty would be brought to book.

He said that about 18 to 20 cases of corruption have come to the notice of the State Government. While two have been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Dhingra Commission has been appointed to probe into the infamous Robert Vadra-DlF deals in Gurgaon. The Commission would soon submit its report to the State Government, he added.

Taking a dig at the opposition parties for criticising the State Government, he said that they have no issues to raise therefore their leaders are making baseless statements.

Referring to the statement made by leader of Opposition, Abhay Chautala, regarding their party rally at Rohtak on November 1, he said that the Sonipat rally of the BJP organised on November 5 was much bigger in terms of attendance, in spite of being rally of only eight districts while that of the INlD which was a State-level rally.

The Chief Minister added that during the last one year, the State Government covered pits dug by the previous Government, be it nepotism in government jobs or corruption and lopsided development.

Asserting that complete transparency would be ensured in the recruitment process, he said that advertisement has been issued for 50,000 posts and the recruitment process would be completed in the coming year to meet the requirement for employees in various Government departments.

Speaking on this occasion, Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Birender Singh, criticised the Congress said that those who looted the farmers during their tenure are now posing as their well-wishers.

He said that before pointing the finger at the present State Government they should first introspect themselves. During the previous Government’s regime, about 20,000 acre land of the poor farmers of the State has been acquired and released to the builders and colonisers at throwaway prices, he added.

Haryana Agriculture Minister, OP Dhankar said State Government had ordered special girdawari (crop loss assessment) in the state to assess the damage caused to the cotton, bajra and guar crops due to whitefly and the affected farmers would get compensation for crop loss within the next 20 days.
