PNS

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal on Tuesday has said that the concerted efforts made by the State Government to  set up a rail coach refurbishing and rehabilitation factory at  Ganaur in Sonepat, have borne fruit.

Decks have now been cleared for transfer of land for setting up the factory, said he.

To be set up at a cost of about Rs 600 crore at Barhi in Ganaur, the factory would not only provide direct and indirect employment to thousands of youth but would also offer opportunities of skill development, the Chief Minister said.

It would accelerate the pace of development and help in setting up of various subsidiary units, including small and medium enterprises, he added.

Manohar lal further said the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has cleared all technical barriers for setting up the factory. The HSIIDC would give 161.48 acres of land to the Railways on lease of 99 years where about 500-700 rail coaches would be refurbished and rehabilitated, said he.
