Gearing up for the 2019 parliamentary polls, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal will hold a rally in Kaithal on December 15.

Kejriwal has launched a vigorous campaign to capture Haryana in 2019 polls and is holding rallies in all 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.

“The AAP chief will hold a rally on December 15 in Kaithal, known as stronghold of INLD chief OP Chautala and present Congress MLA from Kaithal, Randeep Surjewala,” said Naveen Jaihind, AAP state chief.

Jaihind said, it is for the first time that a political party is holding “school-hospital rallies” in a state.

The party plans to hold rallies in all 10 Lok Sabha constituencies by the end of December, he said.

The AAP has announced to contest both the Lok Sabha and the state assembly elections scheduled next year in Haryana.

Notably, AAP is hard selling its Delhi Government’s achievements in the field of education and health sectors to the voters of Haryana.

Jaihind said that the party has also begun holding meetings in all assembly constituencies from December 11. These meetings are aimed at booth management and chalk out a strategy for door-to-door campaign and strengthen the party at grassroot level in the state, he said.

For the past few months, Arvind Kejriwal has been active in attacking his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar on various issues including the conditions of schools and hospitals in the state.

Last month, he had also written to Manohar Lal for a surprise cross inspection of Delhi’s 'Mohalla Clinics' and Haryana’s dispensaries.

Later, Kejriwal also invited the people from Haryana to visit the national capital to inspect the schools and clinics and to see the work done by his AAP government.

In the previous parliamentary polls held in 2014, AAP had lost on all 10 Lok Sabhaseats in Haryana and most of its candidates had finished at fourth or fifth position.
