As many as 27 youths of Haryana have been selected by a company of Bahrain in an International Job-Fair organised at government ITI, Palwal.
One more job-fair will be organised in this ITI where many companies will take part and conduct interviews.
Haryana Industrial Training Minister, Vipul Goel on Wednesday claimed that due to improved quality of education imparted at Government Industrial Training Institutes(ITI’s), in the last three years, the youth of the state are also getting employment in foreign companies under campus placement.
Goel said the Industrial Training Department is offering various technical courses so as to make the youth competent to get employment in companies or industries.
He said that in the two-day job fair organised at government ITI, Palwal in October, Awal Gulf Company Bahrain of Bahrain conducted interviews of the youth and offered job on the spot to 27 youth who has passed diploma in trades, Welding, Electrician and Refrigerating and Air conditioning.
