\Senior Congress leader and AICC media in-charge, Randeep Surjewala on Sunday said that it is the land of Jind which decides the formation of Government and whenever needed, to change it.

History will be repeated in Jind district, which will root out BJP rule in the State, said Surjewala, while addressing ‘Bangar Hunkar Rally’ organised in Chhattar village of Jind.

He lashed out at the BJP Government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar, and also, Union Steel Minister Birender Singh, without naming him for anti-people working and for absolutely neglecting the land of Bangar in development.

Surjewala, claiming the exemplary development in his Assembly constituency Kaithal during the Congress Government without being CM of the State, commented  on the said failures of Birender Singh, alleging that Singh is not CM, is not an excuse for his failures so far as the development of Uchana constituency is concerned.

He said against the available Road Budget of Rs95,000 crore with the Government, nothing has been spent in Uchana. “If the Steel Minister will have brought at least a steel industry in this area, the things will have been changed at least upto some extent,” he added.

Calling the INlD as “B team” of the BJP, the Congress leader said they oppose one another during days whereas coordinate during nights. He alleged that whenever Modi needs him politically, his Government allows parole to INlD chief Om Parkash Chautala.

Surjewala added it is the BJP Government which levied tax on agriculture first time in history of independent India.

This Government imposed 12 per cent tax on chemical fertilisers like Urea and DAP and it was only under pressure of Congress president Rahul Gandhi that this tax ratewas reduced by five per cent,he added.

Surjewala said the farmers were forced to pay unwanted crop insurance premium by snatching over Rs22,000 crore through their bank accounts unlawfully but hardly Rs6,700 crore was paid as claim for the damaged crops and out of five crop insurance companies, four were private companies, may be related to ruling politicians in any way.

The present ruling is unfortunate era of our history when ruling politicians are working on their own vested interests at the cost of general people and in such a way they have become the cause of rise in corruption, crime and inflation as well, alleged the Congress media in-charge.

He added this Government has provided jobs only to 6,786 educated youth whereas 42,000 already engaged have been shown the way-out during its four years ruling and this is ground reality of the promise, the BJP had made in its election manifesto to provide employment to two crorescandidates.
