Following the humiliating defeat in the recent assembly polls in Haryana, Indian National lok Dal (INlD), while revamping its organisational set up, dissolved the State unit and various cell of the party with immediate effect on Friday.
“The entire State unit, including State executive, officer bearers of district, urban, rural and various cells-have been dissolved”, said Ashok Arora. The party would refurbish the organisational set-up after thorough discussion with party workers and senior leaders very soon, he added.
The party, seeking maximum seats in these assembly polls after staying out of power in Haryana for more than one decade, couldn’t reach even one-third of the total assembly seats in Haryana and had squeezed at only 19 out of 90 assembly constituencies in these assembly polls.
