PNHaryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Saturday said that through information technology, the present State Government has worked towards providing right direction to the society through good governance, development and social support.
Addressing a gathering at Karnal, he said that now no one has to stand in a queue or visit offices for getting their works done. They can simply get their work done by submitting required documents at nearby Saral or Antyodaya Kendras. He said that 115 Antyodaya Kendras have been made functional from December 25 where more than 483 services are available online.
Manohar Lal said that it’s a revolutionary system change and the role of middlemen has been eliminated through this system to put a check on corruption. Trained employees have been appointed in these Saral Kendras. Recently, Police Mitra Programme has been launched in Faridabad for police to be polite and courteous with people. The behaviour of every police officer and official would be evaluated, and those who would improve their behaviour will be honoured.
The Chief Minister said, “He joined politics to serve the people and campaigns such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachchhta
Abhiyan and Environment Conservation have been launched to improve the social system in which people have also supported us”.
As a result, Karnal has become number one city of the state in terms of cleanliness. Similarly, plantation was carried out through school students from July toSeptember and the students planted more than 26 lakh plants across the State.
He said that protecting national interest is our priority and first duty and we resolve that every citizen would be self-dependent so that the basic requirements of every citizen should be fulfilled.
