Panjab University’s Centre for Public Health, jointly with Strategic Institute for Public Health Education and Research (SIPHER) and E-RCTC, PGI, Chandigarh, and supported by Department of Oral Science, PGIMER, Chandigarh, organized one-day “Induction Program on tobacco cessation” (IPTC) on Saturday on the theme of “Quitters are winner”. Chief Guest and PU Registrar Prof YP Verma talked about the importance of good health, saying that health of an individual is not something that is to be neglected. Centre for Social Work assistant professor and Public Relations director Dr Gaurav Gaur also shared his practical experience of the field area.
