Admin for solution of garbage processing plant
Chandigarh: VP Singh Badnore, Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator on Friday directed the MC Commissioner to resolve the issues of garbage processing Plant run by J.P. and directed to address the demand and grievances of public residing nearby localities on priority basis. The Administrator also inquired about status of dog management system and directed the concerned authorities to organize a national level conference on ‘dog management’ shortly.
Case registered against a Gurugram Ayushman Mitra
Chandigarh: A case has been registered against an Ayushman Mitra in Gurugram for allegedly making fake golden cards of Ayushman Bharat Yojana of the non-eligible persons by tampering the data of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna’. Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij directed the officials to take strict action against the accused.

50 gram heroin worth Rs 5 lakh seized
Chandigarh: Crime Investigation Agency of Haryana Police has recovered 50 grams of heroin from two scooty-borne youth in Sirsa district. A spokesman said contraband worth around Rs five lakh was seized from the possession of accused identified as Manish Kumar and Amandeep.
