I will campaign for good candidate of any political party, says Ashok Tanwar

PNS

Attacking former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda who has been appointed as legislative party chief and Opposition leader in the Assembly by the Congress, former Haryana Congress chief Ashok Tanwar on Thursday said the party in Haryana has turned into "Hooda Congress" as those who worked against the party's interests in the last five years have been given prominence over those who slogged to strengthen the party.

He said that Congress has been going through “an existential crisis, not because of its political opponents but because of serious internal contradictions” Tanwar also claimed that the ticket distribution in the party was faulty and that it had ignored its workers who worked for over a decade and given to those who gave money in crores during the ticket distribution. "There were huge irregularities in ticket distribution. As per information, around 22 tickets were sold in crores of rupees in Haryana," Tanwar alleged, adding that he will not spell out any details right now but if needed he will give adequate proof to the people. Congress will not win a single seat from all the 90 Assembly Constituencies of the State, he added.

Tanwar said that he had resigned from the party after newly formed election committee had refused to allot ticket to a candidate backed by him.
