With a view to facilitate the citizens in making payments of water and sewerage bills, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has introduced a Mobile App known as “HUDA consumer App”.

It will facilitate the citizens of Panchkula, Gurgaon, Kurukshetra and Karnal estates to pay their bills. The HUDA has also introduced spot billing and online collection of water and sewerage bills in these urban estates, said a spokesman of the HUDA.

He said similar facilities would also be introduced in remaining urban estates by the end of the current year.

The Mobile App can be downloaded from Google Play Store and payment can be made using this app. The payment can also be made through HUDA website www.huda.org.in by using internet banking, debit or credit cards. In addition, consumers can also pay water and sewerage charges by cash or transfer cheque at branches of Punjab National Bank (PNB), Union Bank of India (UBI), Yes Bank and IndusInd bank. Nominal charges of Rs 10 per bill would be applicable in case of making payments through PNB and UBI banks, the spokesman said.

The provision to make payments at Common Service Center (CSC) would also be available in near future. The provision for making payment of bills through the HUDA cash counter has been discontinued with immediate effect, he added.
