Haryana Health, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anil Vij on Saturday ordered vigilance inquiry into alleged irregularities since 2016 in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in village Kheri lamba of district Kaithal.
Vij, who was presiding over District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting at Kaithal, ordered the inquiry after hearing the complaint of village residents regarding fake job cards and other irregularities. Total 12 complaints were taken up by the Minister in the meeting.
Taking action on other complaint, he directed to transfer Civil Surgeon of Community Health Centre (CHC) Kaul. Vikas Kumar, a resident of Kaul has made a complaint that his wife Priyanka was brought to CHC Kaul for delivery where the staff on duty referred her to Civil Hospital Kaithal. At Civil Hospital, same treatment was repeated by the doctors and due to this negligence of doctors, the new born girl child died.
Health Minister also ordered to take action against guilty sarpanch of village Dherdu for various irregularities in developments works. Jagdish Chander, a resident of village Dherdu made a complaint that the sarpanch had done embezzlement of the funds which were sanctioned for cremation ground and other works.
In another complaint, Vij ordered immediate arrest of guilty person involved in a case of loot of Paddy from the fields of Kulveer Singh, a resident of village Chaushala.
