Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya will unfurl the National Flag on Republic Day, i.e. January 26 at Panchkula.
“The At Home will be organised at Haryana Raj Bhawan here the same evening. Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal will hoist the National Flag at Bhiwani,” said an official spokesman.
The Republic day will be celebrated in a befitting manner across Haryana and the government has deputed various Ministers to preside over the celebrations, he said.
Giving details, the spokesman said that the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kanwar Pal will unfurl the National Flag on Republic Day at Karnal and the Deputy Speaker Santosh Yadav will unfurl the National Flag at Faridabad.
The Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma will unfurl the National Flag on Republic Day Function at Rohtak, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu will unfurl the National Flag at Hisar, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister OP Dhankar at Gurugram, Health Minister Anil Vij at Yamunanagar, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh at Nuh, Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain at Kaithal, Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar at Kurukshetra and Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel at Jind.
The Minister of State for Cooperation Manish Kumar Grover will unfurl the National Flag at Ambala, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Kumar at Fatehabad, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karan Dev Kamboj at Sonipat, Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Banwari Lal at Jhajjar, and Minister of State for Labour and Employment Nayab Singh at Rewari, the spokesman said.
If any of the dignitary or officer would be unable to reach the mentioned place then Deputy Commissioner concerned of the district would hoist the National Flag, he added.
