Haryana Government on Monday notified amended policy for engaging outsourcing services and engagement of persons on contract basis. According to the notification, the departments shall ensure that there are no regular posts in that unit of office for performing the outsourced services/activities. The nature of services/activities required to be outsourced should be specified and clearly defined in the tender notice as well as in the contract document instead of mentioning the number of personnel required to perform the services/activities.”
“During the period of contractual engagement, the department shall, endeavour to fill up the vacant posts by regular mode of recruitment. Whenever any contractual employee is engaged under the policy, the department shall enter into an agreement signed by both the parties which shall automatically cease on the expiry of the term without providing any claim to the persons so engagement to any regularisation of service or any consequential benefits,” stated the notification.
