Campaigning in Karnal Assembly constituency for the first time after filing nomination papers, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday promised to the people of his constituency that he would continue to work for their progress and development and also of the entire State.
Khattar started his election campaign from Model Town, Karnal by offering flowerr at the Temple. He also took blessings at a Gurudwara. On the occasion, local residents and Party leaders and supporters welcomed him by raising slogans in his favour and the party.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the people of Karnal have entrusted him with the responsibility of the head of the State by making him an MLA. Due to this, the last five years he could serve the people of the State with strength.
Khattar said, “I am sure that the people of Karnal will give blessings through votes in the upcoming elections. The people of the constituency will become an ally in the development of the entire State," he said, adding “I too regret that I am not able to give full time to the people of Karnal Assembly constituency while serving the entire State. But the people of Karnal never complain to me. For this, I express my gratitude to them and hope that every citizen of Karnal will fight election by considering themselves as a Manohar Lal.”
