In yet another such incident, a vehicle, part of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar's convoy, on Sunday allegedly hit and injured a man in Jind district.
Hosiar Singh, a plumber in the public health department, got hit by the escort vehicle of the CM as he suddenly came close to it, said Jind Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Jorwal. He was walking after drinking from a water cooler installed near the site where Khattar had addressed a function.
“The man sustained an ankle injury and was immediately taken to civil hospital, where he was treated and is doing fine. Officials of the civil and police administration also visited him in the hospital,” Jorwal said.
Notably, in March this year, a youth was killed when he was allegedly hit by a PCR vehicle in Khattar's convoy near Taraori in Karnal district. later in the same month, a recovery vehicle in CM's convoy had allegedly rammed into a motorbike, leaving two youths injured.
