Hry to bring ordinance to save interests of Govt staff: Capt Abhimanyu

PNS

Haryana Government will bring an ordinance to protect the interests of the employees affected by the verdict of Punjab and Haryana High Court setting aside the regularisation policies framed in the year 2014.

Talking to reporters, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu said the State Government would take a decision for the welfare of its employees and legal advice is being taken on this matter. A decision would be taken after due consideration of all aspects, he added.

In May, the High Court had set aside the policies framed by the previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government to regularise employees ahead of the state assembly elections in 2014. The HC had however given six months to the State Government to make regular appointments against these posts and to enable the affected employees to find jobs.

The State Government had last week constituted a three-member committee under Chief Secretary DS Dhesi to analyze the verdict of HC and submit a report to protect the interests of the affected employees.
