Kishori

Himachal Pradesh Forest and Transport Minister, Gobind Singh Thakur, on Thursday assured a delegation of the state private truck operators union that the state government was seriously considering to accept the genuine problems of the private truck operators in the wake of rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country which, in fact, were beyond the control of the central government.

The minister said that like many BJP ruled states Himachal Chief Minister has also announced to reduce the excise duty to provide relief  to the public.

Earlier the state president of the private truck union, Rajesh Prashar,  said the private truck operators were on the brink of bankruptcy due to the spiraling  prices of diesel and petrol.
