A political resolution was passed by BJP at its State executive meet held at Kullu criticising the discriminatory approach of the UPA Government at Centre and alleging that the Central Government even reduced the maintenance fund for National Highways in Himachal.
Attacking Congress high command, BJP said in its resolution that dual leadership is ruling the nation. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is working like a CEO of a company, where all rights are reserved with the chairman of the company, without any responsibility.
“State has got nothing in rail budget and no flights have landed in the State since last September. Discrimination with the State still prevails,” BJP said in the resolution, titled “Failure, scams and corruption of Centre’s Congress Government.”
Party said that the centre has removed central forces from Chamba border with Jammu and Kashmir which had led to extra fiscal burden on the State police force. Amount of arrear Rs4,250 crore from Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) is still a distant dream and has caused loss to the State already running in financial mess.
