On her way back to her country, former Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar along with her husband Feroz Khar on Friday paid obeisance at the Golden Temple.
After paying obeisance, she said, “Being here in the Golden Temple, there are good feelings as one could feel the atmosphere of a pious and sacred place that gives inner happiness”.
She said that she was going back to Pakistan through Amritsar and it was her wish to pay obeisance in the Golden Temple, since this place has great importance in all the religions of the world. Moreover, Golden Temple for them was precious since the foundation stone of this sacred place was
laid by Muslim Sufi saint (Hazart Mia Meer), she said.
After paying obeisance, she crossed over to Pakistan through the land transit route of Attari/Wagah Indo-Pak international border.
