Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday inaugurated and laid foundation stones of four developmental projects worth Rs. 62.16 crore at Mandi. Addressing the people on the occasion, he said that the State in general and Mandi district in particular has witnessed unprecedented development during the present tenure of the State Government. He said that Medical University, State University, Shiv Dham, Dev Sadan etc. were a few projects that would go a long way in the developmental history of the Mandi district.
Kirron Kher inaugurates two Community centres
Chandigarh: Chandigarh MP Kirron Kher on Monday inaugurated two Community Centres in Sector 20 and Sector 30, in presence of Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor and Anindita Mitra, Commissioner. Kher said the city has Community Centres in each sector generally that cater for a variety of community activities. She said the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation not only facilitates the public in a better manner through centralizing the services of booking of Community Centres through e-Sampark, but keeping the system impartial in terms of booking these centres.
