The bus service, suspended by Himachal Pradesh in the wake of violence in the neighbouring States of Punjab and Haryana were restored on Sunday.
Himachal Pradesh Transport Minister G.S. Bali said that all the routes suspended in wake of prevailing situation in the neighboring States have been restored by Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).
He said that this decision was taken after a discussion with Director General of Police and other concerned officers on the current situation by reviewing every aspect pertaining to transport services and passenger.
Bali said that the buses started to ply on these routes from Sunday evening. He said the situation will be again reviewed on Monday evening to ensure safety and security of passengers.
