PNS

Giving a major relief to aspirants of becoming Junior Basic Teacher (JBT)  in Haryana, Punjab and Haryana HC on Thursday vacated the stay on appointment of 9455 JBT teachers selected during the previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government. After the reports of Central Forensic Science laboratory that they did not find discrepancies in the selection process, Justice Ritu Bahri ordered the vacation of stay. Following the vacation of stay, the candidates cleared by state board in thumb impression examination will now be entitled to appointment. In September last year, the investigation was forwarded to the CFSl Chandigarh, when a bunch of petitions seeking directions for quashing the selection of around 9455 JBT teachers were filed in High Court. The High Court had asked the state to complete the verification of signatures for paving way for their appointment. The appointments of around 9000 JBT teachers have been hanging fire since August 2014 when the selection lists were declared by the Haryana School TeachersSelection Board.
