Haryana Tourism Corporation has decided to offer 20 per cent discount to both serving and retired officers of the State Government on booking of rooms at any of its tourist complexes.
This decision has been taken following the persistent requests from officers and officials of various Departments, Boards and Corporations of Haryana in this regard, said Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Sumita Misra. She said that an authenticated employee ID with photograph is required on check-in to avail this discount.
Misra said that there are 42 tourist complexes adjoining lakes, bird sanctuary and golf course that are equipped with 838 air-conditioned rooms, multi-cuisine restaurants, well-stocked bars, state-of-the-art convention centres, banquets and multipurpose halls all over the state.
She said that Haryana Tourism Corporation has come up with a novel initiative to promote and project tourism in the State by getting a Haryana Travel Guide published for the ease of travellers coming to the State.
