Haryana Government will seek financial assistance from Centre for construction of 1,33,761 houses in six towns in the state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
The decision was taken in a State level Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee meeting of PMAY chaired by Chief Secretary, D.S. Dhesi here.
The state government would send an action plan to the Centre for getting financial assistance to construct these houses. The meeting also approved a proposal to send the projects of first and second phase concerning giving financial assistance for construction of houses for 70,671 families in 55 towns to the Centre.
