The Haryana Government will develop citizen facilitation centres in all 10 Municipal Corporations, 18 Municipal Councils and 52 Municipalities in the State, where 41 types of services, including free services, will be provided in a centralised manner.
Urban local Bodies Minister, Kavita Jain on Thursday said that the Chief Minister Manohar lal has approved a proposal to this effect. She said that the State Government has been establishing citizen facilitation centres in urban and rural areas to bring in transparency in schemes and to ensure that people get benefits of necessary schemes under one roof.
Other such centres being operated by the municipalities at their own level would also be brought under this system. The new system would facilitate online registration, issuance of birth, death and marriage certificates, registration of business licenses, issuance of water and sewerage connections, filing of property tax bills and generation of receipts, and payment of various other types of fees, charges and taxes, said the Minister.
Jain said now, seven-member, four-member and three-member staff format had been set for the centres, which would work according to the requirement of the municipality.
