Haryana on Saturday reported one Covid-19 related death, taking the cumulative toll to 9617, while 13 fresh infections pushed the total infection case count to 7,69,717.
According to the health department's daily bulletin, the latest death was reported from Panipat district. Among the districts, six cases were reported from Gurugram and two each from Rohtak and Palwal and one each from Yamunanagar, Sonepat and Karnal.
The total number of active cases in the state is 740. The total recoveries so far were 7,59,360. The recovery rate was 98.65 percent, the bulletin said. Meanwhile, Chandigarh, the common capital of Punjab and Haryana, on Saturday reported four Covid-19 cases. The case tally stands at 61,922 in the Union Territory, according to the medical bulletin. The toll figure stood at 809.
The number of active cases is 32. With six patients being discharged after they recovered from the infection, the number of cured persons reached 61,081, according to the bulletin.
