Taking a dig at Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal who faced protest from residents of his own constituency Karnal a day before, State Congress chief Ashok Tanwar on Tuesday said the people in CM’s constituency and the entire State were suffering while the BJP Government was busy in foreign trips.

Tanwar, while talking to mediapersons at Sirsa, said the people of the State were suffering due to deteriorating law and order situation while the Chief Minister and his Cabinet Ministers were busy in undertaking foreign trips. The Ministers were busy enjoying summer vacation abroad and there was no one to listen to the grievances of general public, he alleged.

The Chief Minister had to face protest in his own constituency, Karnal because people were fed up of this Government now, Tanwar said.

A day before, people had started leaving the venue in protest when the Chief Minister was speaking at a function in Karnal. A video of the entire incident went viral on the social media. The video also showed the Chief Minister, angrily retorting to the citizens and saying that he was being disrespected. The people had reportedly protested when they were not allowed to meet the CM.

On foreign tours of the Chief Minister and his Ministers, Tanwar alleged it was undertaken only for sightseeing and did not have anything to do with the State.

Notably, Haryana Minister OP Dhankar alongwith a 12-member delegation had on Monday night left for a study tour to three countries. The Minister is leading the State delegation to Australia, Fiji and New Zealand on a two-week visit to study latest methods in the field of agriculture and horticulture.

last month, Manohar lal had led a 12-member delegation including Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel to Singapore and Hong Kong for attracting investments for Haryana.

Meanwhile, Tanwar also demanded a probe into the leaking of report of Dhingra Commission which has indicted former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for the sale of a plot worth crores of rupees at throwaway prices to Robert Vadra, son-in- law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
