A day after, Haryana Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi was caught on camera abusing an official, his Cabinet colleagues criticised him and asked him to talk in a responsible manner.

Reacting over the incident of Bedi allegedly abusing an engineer, Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu on Monday said no one has the right to use abusive words for his workers or colleagues.

Capt Abhimanyu also asked Bedi to talk in a responsible manner. “Anyone, who is holding a responsible position in the society as well as in the State, must talk responsibly,” said the Finance Minister.

He added that even he makes sure that he never uses such kind of language.

Bedi, who is Haryana's Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, stoked a controversy by publically abusing an official during a meeting in Yamunanagar on Monday.

On the issue, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said people should mind their language before speaking to their workers.

Vij added that he can understand that Bedi might be disappointed over something, but he should have controlled his language before talking to anyone.

A day before, Bedi was discussing the issue of encroachment of parks during a grievance committee meeting when he asked an official about his qualification. The official answered that he is a diploma holder.

In response to this, Bedi uttered a highly offensive abuse and then continued his tirade.

last year, the Minister was caught on tape while allegedly mocking the Prime Minister's pet 'Swachh Bharat' campaign, saying, “Don't know what all Modi will make us do.” In the video that went viral, Bedi was heard saying this as he held a broom in his hand while cleaning a ground in Fatehabad.
