To end the menace of bursting of crackers and celebratory firing during functions at banquet halls in the state, Haryana Government has decided that the owners of banquet halls would take affidavits to this effect before making any booking.
In case any incident takes place, then the owner of banquet hall would also be held responsible, said Transport and Housing Minister, Krishan lal Panwar, who was presiding over meeting of District Public Relations and Grievances Redressal Committee in Sonipat on Thursday.
