Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij, who had tested positive for Coronavirus recently, was shifted to Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital on Tuesday for further treatment from Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak.
Vij was administered a dose of COVID-19 plasma on Monday.
Haryana BJP state president Om Prakash Dhankhar reached Rohtak PGIMS on Tuesday and learned about the Health Minister’s health.
Talking to ‘The Pioneer’ over the phone Dr Dhruv Chaudhary, HOD and state nodal officer of PCCM Department of PGIMS said that a team of doctors who was monitoring Anil Vij’s health conditions closely on Tuesday decided to shift him to Medanta Hospital. Doctors are monitoring his sugar level and blood pressure because the Health Minister is diabetic.”
The Minister is facing symptoms of fever and cough, lung infection after testing positive for the virus.
