With a view to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev in a befitting manner at State-level for organising various activities relating to his life and teachings, the Haryana Government has decided to constitute a 97-member Organising Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
“Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu, Agriculture Minister OP Dhankar, Health Minister Anil Vij, Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain, Minister of State for Cooperation, Manish Grover and Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Bedi would be its members,” an official spokesman said.
He said committee members will include MP Sirsa, Charnjeet Singh Rori, MLAs Subhash Barala, Bakhshish Singh, Rohita Rewri, Jasvinder Singh Sandhu, Ghanshyam Arora, Seema Trikha, Subhash Sudha, Aseem Goyal, Kulwant Bazigar among others.
