The Haryana Government on Wednesday issued notification regarding imposition of property tax on buildings and land within the limits of the concerned Municipal Corporations.
According to an official spokesman the Municipal Corporations and Municipal Councils and Committees have been categorised into four categories namely-A1 cities — Municipal Corporations of Gurgaon and Faridabad, A2 cities - Municipal Corporations of Ambala, Panchkula, Karnal, Panipat, Rohtak, Hisar and Yamunanagar, B cities All Municipal Councils, C-cities All Municipal Committees.
