Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday announced that the State Government has given approval for Metro connectivity from Ballabgarh to Palwal, which will ensure better connectivity and pace the development of the area.

Khattar, addressing the Gauravshali Bharat Rally at Gajpuri village in Palwal, said that the Central and State Governments are taking remarkable steps towards ensuring inclusive development. “Big projects like Metro and National Highways are coming up in Haryana with the help of the Central Government,” he said while extending gratitude towards the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said: “Our Government has made unprecedented development in Palwal and Faridabad region. With the coming of many major state highways, better connectivity has been facilitated. Development of Jewar Airport will also pace the industrialization and other development works in the area. It is a matter of pride for the region that the Mumbai Expressway is also passing through these districts, which will connect the region with other parts of the country.”

Khattar said that while following the slogan of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’, development works are being carried out in the entire State without any disparity.

“By implementing the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), Haryana is playing an active role in directly giving benefits of government schemes to the last person. Keeping the focus on all aspects related to Property ID and PPP, their permanent solution will be done within the next two months, for this about 1000 employees have been made available to the Urban Local Bodies Department, so that information related to Property ID can be collected,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that on this day, June 25, 1975, the Congress Government imposed an “emergency” on the nation. “Emergency remained an ‘unforgettable phase’ in the history of the nation and it was totally opposite to the Constitutional values. People suffered torture in jails and did agitations for the restoration of democracy, we should remember all such warriors,” he added.

Union Minister of State Krishan Pal said that the Prime Minister Modi has been working for the upliftment of every class for the last nine years as a ‘Pradhan Sevak’, and “India has made a different identity on the global stage under him”.

Haryana Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said that CM’s leadership has worked to give a new direction to Haryana. “There is a glaring contrast of day and night between Haryana in 2013 and Haryana in 2023. Today, Haryana is touching new heights of development in every field. The newly added four NH at Faridabad is set to pace the progress of the district,” he said.

Haryana Cooperation Minister Dr Banwari Lal said that the service system has completely transformed due to the digital revolution in Haryana in the past nine years. “Commendable steps are being taken in the direction of digital revolution and government service is reaching people through the ease of a click,” he added.
