Aiming to make Haryana, country’s first cashless state, the State Government on Tuesday constituted an eight-member committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary for promotion of digital payments in the state.
The committee would oversee the implementation and resolve policy issues relating to promotion of digital payments in the state, said an official spokesman.
The committee would include as members Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management, ACS, Transport, ACS, Printing and Stationery, ACS, Excise and Taxation, Principal Secretary, Finance and Principal Secretary, Information and Technology, said he.
