Haryana Government has constituted a State level Sanctioning Committee under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana for effective implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana with its headquarters at Panchkula. Haryana Chief Secretary DS Dhesi will be the chairman of the committee.
A spokesman of Haryana Government on Thursday said that Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department would be the vice chairman of the committee.
The members of the committee included Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary Finance and Planning, Additional Chief Secretary Development and Panchayat, Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary Water Resources/ Irrigation/ Minor Irrigation, Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary Forest and Wildlife, Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary Public Health Engineering among others. Director General/Director, Agriculture would be the member secretary of the committee.
The spokesman said that the State level Sanctioning Committee would approve the state irrigation plan and district irrigation plan. It would also sanction and prioritise funding of projects under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), besides monitoring and reviewing implementation of the scheme.
