In a condolence message issued here, Yadava described it a major loss to the Police Department and added that these Police personnel would be long remembered for their bravery and excellent services to the Police Department. Praying for peace to the departed soul, he along with entire Police Department empathized with the bereaved family and wished them strength to bear this irreparable loss.

The DGP also said that Police would provide all kind of facilities under the welfare schemes of the Department to the next-of-kin of the deceased.  In addition, free education up to XII standards would be offered to the wards of the deceased employee in Police schools, he said.

Notably, EASI Suresh Kumar was deployed as  PSO of a prime witness in the session judge murder case of village Baragaon (Karnal) when three assailants had attacked the prime witness with gun fire in Ambala last month. Suresh Kumar responded bravely in order to thwart the attack and as a result he sustained fire shot injuries and later succumbed to his injuries.

His act of bravery was instrumental in saving the life of a key witness. All the ten accused  involved in murder were later arrested by the police, said an official spokesman.

Similarly, EASI  Chuhar Ram and constable Parveen Kumar were deputed at village Mahuakheri in Naraingarh  for performing law and order duty as the situation  was tense in that village. After continuously performing their duty for more than 24 hours, both reported back to their respective police station at about 9 pm  on July 3 and left for their home after taking their official weekly off.  Their car met with an accident on  Saranwa- Pabani road in district Yamunanagar. They were rushed to the civil hospital Yamuna Nagar where both succumbed to their injuries, the spokesman added.
