The Haryana Government has declared February 7 as holiday for all shops and commercial establishments falling within the jurisdictional limits of the State to enable the voters of the national Capital New Delhi to cast their votes in NCR Delhi Assembly Elections to be held for various wards.A notification to this effect has been issued by labour Department on Wednesday. A spokesperson said that the holiday has been declared on February 7 to provide opportuinity to those who are working in Haryana and enrolled as voter in Delhi to exercise their franchise. The polls to the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held on February 7.
