Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday directed officers of the power utilities to provide power supply to the village of Rahimpur Kheri of UP located on the border of Haryana.
Even after 65 years of Independence, there is no power supply in the village. It may be recalled that the residents of Rahimpur Kheri had, along with MlA Dharambir Chokker, met Hooda and urged him to sort out their problem.
Now, five houses of the village have started getting power supply from Haryana, and the remaining houses would get it within two days. Hooda also congratulated the district administration, Panipat, and officers of power utilities for this work.
