Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday visited the residence of late DSP Surender Singh in Kurukshetra. A truck driver had mowed Singh down in July this year when he went to the Aravalli hillsides in the Pachgaon region to prevent unauthorized mining. Expressing deep condolences on the unfortunate death of Singh, Khattar said that the state government is standing with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and all possible cooperation will be extended to them. On this occasion, the Bishnoi community also handed over a demand letter to the Chief Minister on behalf of their community.
