Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday flagged off the first batch of new AC buses added to the bus fleet of Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL), on Tuesday evening, which will be the first-ever AC buses to run in the city for public transport. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this is a great initiative by GMCBL and a step forward to improving public transport infrastructure in the city. These buses will offer much respite and ease to the passengers during the summer months and will also encourage more citizens to choose public transport for their daily travel within the city. The Government is looking forward to a positive response of the citizens and providing improved public transport services to citizens at large.
