In a move that could bring in advancements towards its ongoing efforts to ensure transparency in working of power utilities, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has prepared and finalised standard bidding documents in respect of material procured by power utilities related to distribution system.
A spokesman of the Nigam said to bring transparency and efficiency in working of Nigam, the standard bidding documents having tender conditions, technical specifications and all prescribed formats have been uploaded on user friendly UHBVN website. All stake holders and bidders can easily get all the detailed information online through Nigam website i.e. www.uhbvn.com.
He said it would be a very strong weapon that would help in price reduction through competition. The portal builds confidence through transparency and efficiency in the procurement of material.
