Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation (HAFED) has earned a net profit of Rs38.06 crore after tax for the financial year 2015-16 which is much more than net profit after tax for the year 2014-15 at Rs20.31 crore.
Chairman, HAFED, Harvinder Kalyan on Saturday said that the Minister of State for Cooperation, Manish Grover has decided that, the cooperative federations like HAFED and the Haryana Dairy Development Federation would work jointly to market their quality products to the people. Also, during the Golden Jubilee year of Haryana, the HAFED would focus on marketing of its products not only in Haryana, but also in other states of the country. Kalyan said that the HAFED has achieved a higher turnover of Rs8,780 crore during the year 2015-16 as compared to that of Rs8,501 crore in the previous financial year.
