Members of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will make extensive visits in the month of January, 2018 for hearing grievances of the consumers and to entertain new complaints.
A spokesman of the Nigam said that the proceedings of the CGRF would be held in the circle office at Yamunanagar on January 2, Karnal on January 3, Panipat on January 5, Sonipat on January 10, Rohtak on January 18, Panchkula on January 23, Ambala on January 24, Kurukshetra on January 25, Jhajjar on January 29 and Kaithal on January 30, respectively.
He said that the CGRF would take all grievances or complaints of consumers like billing problem, voltage complaints, problems in metering, disconnection and reconnection of power supply, interruptions, failure of power supply, efficiency, safety, reliability, non compliance of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders and others. However, the cases of theft and unauthorized use of electricity, offences and penalties would not be considered by the Forum, he added.
